what he is trying to say, is that when you see that your "friends"are doing something you know its wrong. You should stand up. It doesn't matter if they are making fun of you.But the thing is you are making them standing up for the right thing to do.You may be the only one standing up for them but you be the leader of making people do the same thing like standing up for other.Most important you will be the one choosing the right.Also you have the courage to light up for others to follow. For example if you'r "friend" is making fun of a kid you should stand up and say to Stop.And it doesn't matter if you are the only one standing up up you know you did the right thing.

what this could means is that if you obey you will do the right thing. And you will likely be successful in life. its like a test if you obey you pass the the test. if you disobey you wouldn't pass the the test.
