What Mr. Haymore is trying to say is that if we choose the right we will be doing the right things and we will also accomplish our goals. For example if you want to be someone in life then you will study  hard work hard and also try your best,If you keep on doing those steps you will go far and accomplish your goals. But if you don’t take interested for it like not studying, not working hard, being lazy, partying all night, drugs etc… You will not accomplish your goal and you will not go far enough in life. But you know if you try your best you will go far in life. And if you choose the right you will accomplish other goals as well. If you want to be one of the best players in your school you will do your best practice every day study your skills, but if you don’t you may end up on your team for the worst player. Choosing the right is good thing to do because choosing the right makes your life so much easier and also it will make you accomplish your goals and that is something that Mr. Haymore had shown me throughout my freshmen year
