what this is quote  trying to say is that if you want to be wise choose the right path were it leads you the right way.But if  you hang out with the wrong person and you want to graduate or have a wonderful job .What you should do is  destroyed the friend ship . What you ware doing with them is wrong and its not letting you be wise(not hang out) .But if you choose the wrong you will never reach to your goal .Specially if your are hang out with those bad influence friends .For example you want to to graduate from high school and you want to go ,to a good college/university.And you start smoking,drinking ,not putting effort,etc...You will never reach your goal.Why...?Because you started hanging out with the wrong persons.But if you said NO to the persons that ware trying to lead you to the wrong path that will be different .Instead of saying yes go get some books and read or study for an up coming test .And if keep on doing you will even graduate go to college and have a good job
